sample lab test 2

This is my answer.

REMEMBER CONNECT YOUR PC TO THE CORRECT PORT!!

1.Since there is no vlan 5 and 6. So i created the vlan.

2.now configure the port 5 & 6 to access vlan 6 and port 7 & 8 to access vlan 5.

3.then do the IP configuration for all 4 PC.

4.lastly, ping from PC1 to PC2. and PC 1 to PC 3

Result :Ping from PC 1 to PC2 -- successful
Ping from PC 1 to PC3 -- fail

Sample lab test 1

This is my answer.

after configure Router A and Router B.

*show running-config.

Workstation 1(Doing configuration for Router A) :

Then do the IP configuration for both PC.

Lastly, Using Workstation 1 to ping Workstation 4.

LAB 4

1. Get all the needed devices first.
PC, Router (2620 model (s0/0) or 2811 model (s0/0/0)) , Switch (2950-24)

2. Double click the router.

switch it off.

look for WIC-2T.

Drag it to the empty space.

switch it on.

*Both routers must do HOR!

3. Look for Serial DCE cable at the connection.

Connect from router_0 Serial 0/0 to router_1 Serial 0/1.

hence, router_0 DCE and router_1 will atomically be DTE.


4. Use Copper straight through to connect from PC to Switch and from Switch to Router.

Use Console cable to connect from router console to PC console.

5. Do configuration for both routers.

6. Do the IP configuration for both PC.

7. When u finish, u will be able to ping from PC 1 to Switch 0 to Router 0 to Router 1 to Switch 1 to PC 2.

Network & Protocols Lab 3

1. Look for Switches at the bottom left, Choose the model 2950-24 .
2. Look for End Devices at the bottom left, Choose PC-PT.

3. Look for Connection at bottom left, choose the "Copper Straight-through".
Click on the Switch, Choose F0/1 then drag and click the PC1.
Connect to FastEthernet.

4. Do the same steps for PC 2 to 4.

5. Now, at connection, look for console.
click on the Switch. Connect the Console to the PC1 Console(RS 232).

6.Double Click PC1. (see the pic below)

7. Click Terminal, don't change anything and click OK.

8. Follow the steps in the book to do the configuration.

*NOTE: I SKIP STEP 4 . I GOT NO IDEA WHY THE SWTICH TURN OFF AND I CANT ON IT AGAIN. MAYBE U ALL CAN HELP ME WITH THIS.

9. After u finish Step 6 and 7.
u will be able to ping from PC 1 to PC3 ( same Vlan) but u cant ping PC2 and 4.

10. Next,at the bottom left. look for Routers. Choose the 2621 model.

11. Do step 10 configuration. and u will be able to ping from PC 1 to PC 2, 3 & 4 successfully.
12. Do step 12 if u wan.
